Frequently asked questions

Is this a biosafety cabinet?

No. The YR2026-56 is a laminar flow cabinet — it protects the sample from particles but does not contain biohazards. For biosafety work choose the YR0090C-SS Class II A2.

What is the cleanliness class?

ISO Class 5 / Class 100 at the worksurface with HEPA H14 filtration.

Can the flow velocity be adjusted?

Yes. Flow velocity is adjustable from 0.30 to 0.50 m/s via the digital controller.

Does it require external ducting?

No. Recirculating laminar flow discharges cleaned air back into the room — no ducting to roof is required.
